NYS Baroque has announced its 31st concert season, five concerts exploring the variety, beauty, and excitement of early music, from medieval Italian madrigals to songs of Clara Schumann, secular and sacred, the intimate to the operatic. The season combines the innovative programming and stellar artists for which NYS Baroque, central New York's oldest early music organization, is known.

Concerts take place at 7:30 p.m., with pre-concert talks at 6:45 in each location, and a post-concert reception. In Syracuse, the venue is the First Unitarian Universalist Society, 109 Waring Road. In Ithaca, the venue is the First Unitarian Society, 306 N. Aurora Street. 7:30. Note that the December 13 and 14 concerts will have different venues: St. Paul's in Syracuse on December 13, and First Presbyterian Church in Ithaca on December 14.
